Glyptodon Enterprise combines commercial support with carefully-maintained packages of Apache Guacamole targeted at enterprise use. Pricing is based on the maximum number of servers on which the Glyptodon Enterprise packages may be installed, and is not directly tied to the number of users you serve. This pricing style is designed to be flexible and lenient, especially as your business scales.

The size of your deployment and the power of your servers will dictate which package is best for you. As a general rule of thumb for scaling, for every 25 concurrent connections, we recommend 1 core / 2 GB memory for optimal performance.
For example, if you expect 1,000 concurrent connections at peak load, you will need a minimum of 40 cores / 80 GB. You could achieve this with 5 servers, each with 8 cores / 16 GB, which requires only the 5-server package. Or you could split this further to 10 servers, each with 4 cores / 8 GB, which would require at least the 10-server package.

Yes. As an active customer, you may request changes to your current package by opening a new support ticket. We will contact you to confirm and make the necessary adjustments. Upgrades take effect immediately, and you will be billed a prorated amount for the remainder of the current term. Downgrades take effect at the beginning of the following term.
You may cancel at any time, however cancellation does not take effect until the beginning of the next term. The license package that you already paid for will remain valid until the end of the current term.
The RPMs within our repositories are distinct from the software they bundle, and are licensed to customers under Glyptodon's EULA. You may only use the packages under these license terms, which are only available to Glyptodon Enterprise customers. If you are no longer a customer (your license has expired and you are not renewing), you must cease using the packages.
The software installed using the Glyptodon Enterprise packages is under the same license as the upstream project, and is open source. For Apache Guacamole, this is the Apache License. Once installed, you may use the software under its corresponding license without any additional restriction.
If you would like to build Glyptodon Enterprise into your product, or resell Glyptodon Enterprise alongside your product or services, please contact us and describe what you have in mind. We would be happy to discuss any possibilities.
